With over 50 years of experience in the tourism sector, Akra Hotels has partnered with Piri Guide, the audio travel guide platform, to highlight the historical, cultural, and natural treasures of Antalya’s Kemer district. As part of the collaboration, Akra Hotels has curated a special audio tour of Kemer within the Piri Guide app, aiming to position the region not only as a holiday destination but also as a place of discovery enriched by its stories.

Akra Hotels, enhancing its contribution to Kemer’s tourism potential and sustainability through its collaboration with Piri Guide, will bring the region’s story to life with an 18-stop, approximately 90-minute audio tour available on the Piri Guide app. Supported by Akra Hotels, this tour allows users to explore Kemer’s historical, cultural, and natural beauty through location-based storytelling on their mobile devices. Enriched with insights from expert local guides, the tour is designed to present Kemer not only as a holiday destination, but also as a place of curiosity and discovery.

The audio tour offers rich insights into Kemer’s geography, its history from ancient times to today, and even the origin of its name, while guiding listeners through significant landmarks such as the Seljuk Hunting Lodge, Göynük Canyon, Lycian Way, Beldibi Cave, Yörük Park, Idyros Ancient City, Tahtalı Mountain, and Yanartaş. Phaselis—one of the Mediterranean’s most stunning ancient cities—is featured with stops like the North Harbor, Great Baths, Ancient Theater, Main Street, and Hadrian’s Gate, while the tour also covers highlights of Olympos Ancient City, including the Bishop's Palace, Lykiarch’s Mausoleum, and Monumental Port Tombs.

Through its collaboration with Piri Guide—offering over 3,500 audio tours in more than 100 cities across 50+ countries—Akra Hotels will help more than 2 million global users explore Kemer with immersive Turkish and English audio storytelling.
