Human Capital Policy

Since we, as BHM Hospitality, are aware of the fact that the ability to improve the guest satisfaction and offer the best quality starts with the happiness of our staff members at the environment where they serve, we, as the Human Capital Department, are committed to selecting the staff members elaborately for the positions, which would be the best fit for them, and providing them primarily with not only material but also moral support. Accordingly, our human capital policy is addressed as follows:

  • To apply all of the hiring processes precisely and as specified in the BHM Selection and Placement Procedure with the object of matching the qualifications and competencies and measuring the skills as required for the purpose of placing the best fit candidate in the position that fits such candidate the best;
  • To listen out at first the requests and needs of our staff members and arrange the work environment in line with such needs in accordance with our "Happy Staff, Happy Guests" motto;
  • To analyze the training requirements as required by the job positions for the purpose of supporting the continuous learning and orientation of the staff members by following the latest developments, and to ensure that the necessary trainings are provided;
  • To provide the individuals with an environment where they would improve themselves in accordance with the ethical values by taking the principle of equality as the basis and without any discrimination in terms of color, language, religion and gender among the staff members and by sustaining the communication, and to provide assistance to the staff members for their career planning;
  • To determine the competencies of our staff members and to observe their potential concretely and to keep their details in the talent pool for the purpose of assessing them for the appropriate positions that might arise, and to manage the process accordingly;
  • To set their career goals together with the staff members and to enhance productivity by providing feedback together with their managers at the end of the process;
  • To follow up the statutory regulations with respect to occupational health and safety for the purpose of maintaining a safe work environment for the staff members and preventing the occupational health problems;
  • To take the actions as required for keeping the motivation high and maintaining engagement;
  • To engage in the activities together with the staff members and raise awareness for the sake of protecting the nature;
  • To try to ensure the equality in terms of the percentage of female and male staff members in respect of the workforce;
  • To train and promote any staff member, hired by us, as based on her/his potential by providing such staff member with the necessary training supports;
  • To provide all of our staff members with the required support and encouragement as based on our sensitivity in respect of foreign language learning.
