As part of its sustainability efforts, Akra Hotels focused on solar power plant investments and generated 65% of its electricity needs from solar energy in 2024. With ongoing efforts, Akra Hotels aims to fully power its operations with solar energy by the end of 2025.

Akra Hotels, which has been continuing its investments in solar power plants since 2022 in line with its responsibility towards the world, generated 18,990,945 kWh of electricity in 2024 with its power plants located in Döşemealtı and Aksu established in 2022, Afyon Sandıklı in 2023, and Alanya and Elmalı Bayındır in 2024. Having met approximately 65 percent of its electricity consumption in 2024 with the energy obtained from the sun, Akra Hotels will open a 3.9 MWp solar power plant in Elmalı Kışlaköy as of March 2025, in line with its goal of meeting the energy needs of all its facilities from solar power plants.

Currently operating with a total installed capacity of 21 MWp, Akra Hotels aims to generate 33 million kWh of electricity from solar power plants and meet 100% of the energy needs of all its facilities from the sun by the end of 2025 through the investments realized and the energy-saving measures to be implemented.
