Breaking new ground in Türkiye’s barrier-free tourism, Akra Hotels was honored with the “Barrier-Free Informatics Private Sector Award” during the opening ceremony of Biltevt'24: International Barrier-Free Informatics 2024 Congress. The award, presented by the Türkiye Barrier-Free Informatics Platform, recognizes outstanding informatics services supporting people with disabilities in Türkiye.

Akra Hotels’ CONSULT Professional Video Support Service offers visually impaired guests free, on-demand video assistance throughout their entire experience—from making reservations to their stay. Guests can access detailed information about the hotel facilities prior to arrival and receive support during the reservation process. Throughout their visit, the service assists with everything from elevator floor selection and room air conditioning settings to descriptions of social areas and management of food and beverage orders.
