Akra Hotel, known for its strong commitment to sustainability, has launched the “Akra Brand Starts from Childhood” project to foster environmental and social responsibility from an early age. As part of the initiative, Akra Hotel hosted zero waste and sustainability workshops for children aged 6 to 10, aiming to inspire the next generation to care for the planet.

Akra Hotel launched an important project aligned with its commitment to sustainability and social responsibility. Under the “Akra Brand Starts from Childhood” initiative, awareness activities on sustainability were organized to support the environment and society. On April 18, Akra Hotel welcomed students aged 6 to 10 from Nar Tanesi Schools and Bilge Children Academy.

The program began with an educational session on zero waste, designed to introduce children to sustainable practices. Following this, the children joined a cupcake workshop led by Akra Hotel Executive Chef Baykaner Gönen. The event concluded with a flower planting workshop held in the hotel’s garden.

Throughout the day, the students were guided by teachers from Nar Tanesi Schools and staff from the Akra Mini Club. This support ensured the children enjoyed the activities while learning valuable lessons in a fun environment.
